Questions from the people who sign
Short answers on the license, the survey, the utility and the bid.
Are you licensed, and how do I check?
We hold a Georgia electrical contractor license and carry liability and workers' compensation insurance. The number is in the footer. Look it up on the state's license verification site before you hire anyone, us included.
What happens at the site survey?
We walk the site with your fleet or facilities manager, read the panel, the meter and the electrical room, and note where vehicles park and when. You get a written scope and bid afterward.
What goes in a written bid?
The scope, what is left out, the permit fees as passed through, the utility's charges as a separate line, and a schedule that shows where we wait on the utility. A change goes on a change order before we do it.
How long will the utility take?
The utility sets its own schedule. For a new line or transformer it can run longer than the install, which is why we file the request first.
Who pulls the permit?
We do, where the city or county requires one. The bid says so.
Can you work around our vehicles?
Yes. We agree the hours and the lot access before work starts, and we schedule heavy work for the quiet weeks where we can.
What if a charger stops working?
Start with the network or manufacturer support line printed on the unit. If it looks like our electrical work, call the office and we'll send someone. We don't staff an overnight line, and calls are returned the next business morning.
Do you help with incentives?
We point you to the utility and program pages and fill in the paperwork on our side. Terms change, and we can't promise you'll qualify.
Still have a question?
Call or text the office, Monday to Friday.
