About

A commercial crew that starts with a clipboard

Venkat Natarajan started Switchyard to do charging work for fleets, dealerships and schools. Before a charger goes in, he or one of the leads walks the site, reads the panel and meets the person who manages the vehicles.

Today a twenty-person crew of electricians, apprentices and office staff surveys, files, builds and hands over each job under one roof.

The leads

The people who run your job

  • Nazia Hashmi

    Project manager

Files the utility requests, tracks the schedule and is your contact between the survey and the energizing.

  • Olamide Addo

    Lead electrician

Runs the install crew on site, from the trench to the commissioning.

  • Jinglei Zheng

    Estimator and load studies

Does the load study after the walk and writes the scope for the bid.

How we work

Three habits on every job

  • Survey before the bid

No one prices a charging job from a phone call. We look at the panel first.

  • The utility on its own line

What the utility charges and when it can act is listed apart from our work, so you can plan around it.

  • Work around your vehicles

We schedule installs for the hours the lot is quiet, and agree access before we start.

Meet us on your site.

Ask for a survey and one of us will be there.
